How home energy storage works?

Home energy storage systems, also known as electric energy storage products or “battery energy storage systems” (BESS), refer to the process of using household energy storage equipment to store electrical energy until it is needed.

Its core is a rechargeable energy storage battery, usually based on lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries. It is controlled by a computer and realizes charging and discharging cycles under the coordination of other intelligent hardware and software.

How home energy storage works?

When the sun shines during the day, the inverter converts solar energy through photovoltaic panels into electricity for household use, and stores excess electricity in the battery.

When the sun is not shining during the day, the inverter supplies power to the home through the grid and charges the battery;

At night, the inverter supplies the battery’s power to households, and can also sell excess power to the grid;

When the power grid is out of power, the solar energy stored in the battery can be continuously used, which can not only protect important equipment in the home, but also allow people to live and work with peace of mind.
