What are the main functions of BMS?

1. Battery status monitoring

Monitor the battery’s voltage, current, temperature and other conditions to estimate the battery’s remaining power and service life to avoid battery damage.

2. Battery balancing

Equally charge and discharge each battery in the battery pack to keep all SoCs consistent to improve the capacity and life of the overall battery pack.

3. Fault warning

By monitoring changes in battery status, we can promptly warn and handle battery failures and provide fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.

4. Charging control control

The battery charging process avoids overcharging, over-discharging, and over-temperature of the battery and protects the safety and life of the battery.
